The YW was founded in Cape Town in 1886 and has a legacy of providing protected, comfortable and affordable student accommodation.
We are an interdenominational non-profit making organization providing student accommodation in a Christian atmosphere. The YW bases its main precepts on the development of young women as the homemakers and role models of the future. We believe in nurturing these young women as the shapers of the values and ideals of coming generations.
