EAST LONDON

The East London YW is situated in the central suburb of Southernwood. It is close to the main shopping centre (Oxford Street) of East London and near the campus’ of Walter Sisulu and University of Fort Hare. A number of other colleges and medical centres are in the area also, and there is a bus stop at the gate for those needing transport to their learning or working place.

The house is run on a self-catering basis with single or double bedrooms available. Accommodation facilities include furnished single and double bedrooms with private hand basins; bathrooms and showers, laundry, large lounge with TV, a small library, chapel/study area, well equipped kitchen and dining room.

• Card and coin operated public telephones are available.
• Residents are expected to attend a weekly youth service and optional Bible study groups are also provided.
• Limited secure parking is available within the complex.
