JOHANNESBURG

Our largest residence, the Johannesburg YW is located in Braamfontein, a central suburb of Johannesburg, and opposite the Civic Centre and Civic Theatre. This house accommodates 140+/- young ladies on a self-catering basis. The house is a short distance from the main railway and bus station (Park Street Station), Damelin College and the Johannesburg University campus of Wits. Many other learning institutions are only a short distance away – most within walking distance.

Hostel Style accommodation facilities include furnished single and sharing bedrooms. Bathrooms, showers and toilet facilities are shared. Facilities include laundries, large lounge with TV and chapel.

There is a communal kitchen on every floor; deep freezers and fridges are available.
Students are required to provide their own hot plate for cooking in the kitchens.

• Card and coin operated public telephones are available.
• Residents are expected to attend a weekly youth service and optional Bible study groups are also provided.
• Limited secure parking is available.
